This 1970 Challenger originally came from the factory as an R/T 440 V8 “Six Pack” Three Barrel Carb High Performance 390 HP with a 4 speed manual transmission.  Mark Worman, the owner and star of the popular TV reality show “Grave Yard Carz” purchased this vehicle with the intention of putting it back to original.  Unfortunately, the drivetrain was long gone, the car was missing its fender tag and build sheet, all vital for an all original restoration.  Trying to find date correct parts for this car would be very difficult.

In 2021 when Mark and his crew were at SEMA LV, showing off their restored and modified “Christine”, a 1958 Plymouth Fury, that Dodge had provided Worman and his crew with a brand new Hellephant 426 cu 1000 HP crate engine.  At the end of the show, Dodge officials announced they were going to provide him with a 2022 6.2 liter Hellcrate Redeye 807 HP supercharged V8 and see what he would bring the following year to 2022 SEMA LV.

Mark decided to use the 1970 R/T Challenger to put the new Hellcrate in, since he had already had all the metal work done, and turn it into a T/A Tribute.  He gave the project to his long-time employee and painter, Will Scott.  Will was able to choose the color and modifications to the T/A.  Will went ahead and chose EK2 “Go Mango”, a color he had not painted yet, and it turned out beautiful. Will is an amazing painter, probably one of the best in the country.

Ron from Magnum Force supplied the custom front K member assembly for the T/A Tribute Challenger and Cousin Dougie installed the engine, Moser Dana 60 rear axle with 3:54 gears and all the provisions for the install.  Justin Gjesdal was a vital part of putting this build together. Anthony did the cutting and buffing.
