The 1990 454SS is one of the very first high performance, limited edition US pickup trucks, superseded only by the Dodge Li'l Red Express trucks of 1978 & 1979. As such, they will always have a prominent place in the collector vehicle market, and in the hearts and minds of those who remember these sinister-looking torque monsters from when they were new and the "It" truck of the early 1990s. This 454SS represents a rare chance to go back in time and own one that is virtually exactly like it was back in 1990. * Still has its original title showing 9 actual miles when issued.
* Includes original window sticker, letter to original owner from the Chevrolet Central Office GM, pre-inspection form, etc.
* 100% original. A new protective bed mat and AC conversion to 134A are the only changes from showroom original.
* Only maintenance items like fluids, tires, and (new) battery are not original to the truck.

Unlike most dealers and greedy consignment warehouses who ask absolutely insane prices for not only their very low mile examples, but also for 454SS trucks that are modified in almost every conceivable way, or that have high miles or are in poor condition, ours is priced right around the Hagarty Valuation Guide's #2 condition. Meaning, even though this truck has incredibly low miles and is very near showroom quality, it is priced along with nice, clean examples that usually have far and away more miles and wear on them than this one. It is not a 100% "Lived-In-A-Bubble" perfect truck, nor is it priced anywhere close to Hagarty's #1 condition. If you need a truck of that perfection, you can wrestle away the one that sold for $110,000 back in April at one of the major auction houses. Yes it did, look it up!

1) This vehicle will only be listed ONCE on ebay, so copy and save the data here if you want to roll the dice and hope it doesn't sell before the end of the auction. My experience is that most people regret that strategy, and it doesn't affect the final sale price either way, so take that into account. 2) Car is sold "as is" with no warranty of any kind, expressed or implied. I've tried to accurately describe the car in pictures, video, and detailed description, but i can't possibly know every minute detail, feature, or flaw of any individual vehicle, so buyers should satisfy themselves on the condition of the vehicle BEFORE placing a bid or making an offer. Personal inspections are welcomed and encouraged. As nice as this vehicle is, it is a 34 YEAR old vehicle, not a 34 DAY old vehicle. As such, it will not be perfect (no vehicle is, regardless of age/miles), with typical minor flaws associated with a vehicle of this age that is seldom driven. 3) Please have all permissions and financial details in order BEFORE placing a bid or making an offer. Agreements to purchase are binding contracts, please take them as seriously as I do. 4) A $500 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of purchase, no exceptions. 5) Full payment is due within 7 business days, no exceptions. Car will not be released until full payment is verified. 6) Unlike many dealers charging insane "junk" fees, I add on a simple $125 doc fee to the final sale price.
