This 1989 Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary (Downdraft) is finished in an iconic Bianco exterior paint combined with a luxurious cream leather interior. It represents the final and most refined Countach model released by Lamborghini to celebrate their 25th anniversary in 1988.
This Euro-spec car is a carbureted version of the Countach which produces more power (449 HP vs 414 HP) than the fuel-injected cars delivered to North America. The Euro cars also have slimmer, more integrated bumpers that maintain the car's intended design.
Designed by Horacio Pagani, the car features significant restyling compared to the 5000QV, including enlarged rear air-box intakes and relocated ducts for better aerodynamics. The engine bay cover was redesigned for improved airflow and a new rear bumper was added.
This particular example was delivered new to a private collection in Europe where it was eventually purchased by a Japanese buyer. The car has recently been acquired from Japan and imported into North America.
It remains in immaculate condition and has recently undergone a thorough $40,000 inspection and service which included replacing some electronic components, optimizing the suspension system, cleaning up the headlights and more.
