Probably missing a few things, but you get the idea. The car works well on the street, and is very predictable. You can take it to the drag strip, or your significant other can go pick up groceries in it. It's been babied most of its life, and still has lots of life left in it.
Commonly asked questions...
Dealer? No
Warrantee? No
Is it a show car? Absolutely not. This Saleen is a driver. I had the front bumper repainted from multiple rock chips from the last owner. There are still some in the hood. Its black, so if you look closely when its clean, you can see it needs are good buff job on it. With a good buff and some paint correction, it could be shown...but that describes most cars, lol. This Saleen is for the enthusiast that wants to go out and shread the road. Definitely not one to put in Steve Saleen's collection.
Does it need anything? It could use a professional detail, and just put new tie rods on so maybe an alignment
Is it fast? Fast is subjective. It's one of my lowest hp cars, but is by far my best at planting on the street and going. Everyone that rides in it says its fast. And it has no problems hurting the feelings of local Camaros, Chargers, Challengers, and Imports. It's even funnier that most doesn't know what a Saleen is and finds out the hard way.
Why are you selling it? Because I have more cars than I have space in my shop. Its time for me to move some along. I bought it with 50k miles, and put around 20k miles on it over the last 10 years. It just sits around in the shop collecting dust, so it's time for someone else to own it that will drive it and enjoy it as much as I used to.
Accidents? 0 accidents. I was told by the previous owner that he had the windshield replaced because of a foul ball at a Texas Rangers game.
Will you help ship? Yes, I've sold cars on here before and can meet up with you carrier to load the car. I have plenty of room in front to load a car on an 18 wheeler. And I will send you pics and videos as it leaves.
Other questions? Feel free to ask questions, and hopefully I'll have more auctions this week for you to check out.
