New listing! 1967 Mustang Convertible with power top, power brakes, power steering and ice-cold A/C! This is an original "A code" car, now a 1969 351W 4BBL. Rebuilt C4 Automatic transmission. This is an original deluxe saddle interior car redone 2 years ago. All GTA options have been added to the car. Very tidy under the hood. Very solid undercarriage. Paint is older but shows new and full quarters were repainted last year due to some stone chips in the lower quarters. Paint color is a 1988 Lincoln color called Medium Cabernet and is a crowd favorite at the car shows! The saddle convertible top is in like new condition with a glass rear window.
Mustang has newer power front disc brakes with new booster and master cylinder (1 year old). Car has Magnum 500 rims all around and BF Goodrich TA Radials. Rims are 14" and tires are 225 60R14. Rear tires are new.
Undercarriage was rust proofed at some point and is in great rust-free condition. Two new Flow master type mufflers were just installed, other pipes in good condition and GT quad exhaust tips. Car has one-inch lowering springs all around giving it a nice low-profile stance. The C4 automatic transmission has been rebuilt within the last 2000 miles and performs as it should.
Very tidy under the hood. No history on the 351W. Mustang runs great has a Pertronix ignition and starts strong every time. New 3 core radiator and shroud. "COBRA" valve covers and "COBRA" oval air cleaner. Car has a one-piece shock tower brace. Nice detail with newer bolts and wires, hoses under the hood. No areas of rust.
As i mentioned, GTA equipment options were added including rocker emblems (original MUSTANG emblems deleted) rocker stripes, wheel opening moldings, GT gas cap, functioning turn signal hood, fog lights, drivers remote side mirror and a matching passenger mirror. Extra options include an (R) style front lower valance and a rear applique ribbed panel painted body color.
The paint has great shine and the car is very straight. A tan pinstripe was added on the upper body line which is a great accent. A couple small scratches but overall presents very well. Bumpers and exterior chrome in like new condition. The fog lights appear to be wired but not working. Everything else is functioning normally.
The interior was recently redone with seats recovered, nice fiberglass seat backs and seat side shields, new carpet, deluxe door panels, new seat belts, stainless dash trim panels and door trim panels, and aftermarket deluxe steering wheel. Dash pad looks new but unsure if that was replaced when interior was done. Nice stereo with wireless Bluetooth and 4 door speakers. All glass is good. Working gauge clock and all gauges working. A/C works great and looks factory through factory A/C vents and control panel. Has some components of the Convenience Group option but just the upper console, light fixtures, lenses, and chrome bezel rings. This upper console piece will only stay with a BUY IT NOW purchase as they are very rare and pricey. I will reinstall the standard upper console piece that came with the car. Comes with saddle top boot also. The trunk has a trunk mat, spare, and a jack.
This is a strong driver quality car with great, highly desirable options. This Mustang gets a lot of attention at car shows and sounds just as good. A Lot of new parts and service making this a reliable car and a car you can be proud to drive.
