1988 Chevy S-10 Drag Racing Truck - This truck was purpose built from the ground up to foot brake race.  We raced last summer and had a lot of success with this truck - It is very fast and runs really, really well.  Truck has about 80 passes on it and still runs like new.  Engine is a LS based 383 making about 600 horsepower on race gas, it does better on Methanol but it is set up for gas as of now.  Engine has AFR heads, and the best of everything.  Engine alone is worth about $15,000, trans is built and is worth around $3500.00.  It runs consistently in the 6.20 to 6.40 range in the 1/8 depending on weather and altitude.  It will run 6.0 on Methanol but we have mostly run it on 112 race gas.  It is not street legal, has no alternator, set up for racing only.  It has a full frame with a upper half roll cage.  Single racing seat with 5 point harness.  2 speed Power-glide set up with trans brake, but trans brake has never been hooked up.  Truck has always been foot brake raced.  It has nice gauges, aluminum dash, quick release wheel, ratchet shifter with auto shift, MSD LS ignition system, dual batteries, fuel cell, side exit exhaust, Quick Performance 4.88 rear end with Cal-Trac rear suspension, brand new rear Viking double adjustable shocks, Rupert carburetor, fiberglass windows, line lock, tires are 28x10.5 Hoosiers and have about 6 passes on them, email with questions.  Truck is ready to race right now and needs nothing.  Buy it, race it and go make some cash!  Asking $20,000 or best offer.
