NO RESERVE and CLEAN TITLE IN HAND!

Welcome to my Listing.  I'm selling this "seafoam" green 1979 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible that has been in my family for over the past 25+ years.  Both of my boys learned to drive a manual stick shift on this car.  It has spent over 12+ years in a high-end retail boutique, used as an interior "prop" in Kennebunkport Maine.  When my mom passed, and her business was sold, I inherited this fun little car and have enjoyed driving her for over the past decade.

Over the past year, I have put in new brakes, a new battery, a new clutch, new starter, an entire new carpet kit and new tires.  The only thing she could use is a new radio, but other than that, she's a solid and safe car that's fun to drive, easy to service and very easy to maintain.  The interior door panels were custom painted and have a resin finish, but they can easily be replaced with black panels for $145.00 and can be purchased at JBUGS. Swapping out the door panels is a simple project that can easily be done yourself.

Here's the bottom line...  This car is a blast to drive and gets attention everywhere you go.  She's a strong little bug with lots of good years ahead of her.  I'm hoping to find her a loving home and that the new owners will enjoy her as much as my family has over the years.

The black vinyl roof is in good shape and does not leak.  There are some very small rust spots on the body, which is to be expected, on a car of this age.  The original color was red.  In 1997, when the "new" Beetle first debuted in "Seafoam" Green, my mom fell in love with the color and had this vintage beetle painted to match the new beetle color.
