1939 Packard Six. 245 ci, 100 hp. 3 speed column shift. This car was sold in 1939 by Gibbes Machinery Co in Columbia SC. It has spent it's entire life in Columbia. I am the 3rd owner. It had a frame on restoration 2013-2016.
 Everything is either factory original or correct reproduction. Exterior color is Packard Maroon. Interior is tan with the seat covers being the original matching pattern from Bill Hirsch Upholstery. Seats are in perfect condition with no splits or tears.
The inline six engine and transmission with overdrive was rebuilt at the time of restoration. Both are original to the car. The radiator is re-cored and has the shudder thermostat and works as should.
The dash and interior trim is beautifully refinished. Other accessories include the dealer installed and working clock, heater and radio, Goddess of Speed hood ornament and banjo wheel. The body is straight with no bondo. The fit and finish is beautiful. Whitehall tires with spare and original jack included.
This car was AACA Senior qualified in 2016 at the Southeastern Regional in Charlotte. Always garage kept and alway a crowd pleaser. The buyer will enjoy a reliable Packard driving experience for years to come.
