Offered is a 1948 Packard Custom Eight 7 passenger sedan. This is one of 231 built on the Custom Eight long chassis in 1948. It is serial number 2251-2049, so the 49th car built. This is the non divider window version. Car is quite complete, some rust in trunk and a little in rockers but overall quite solid. Equipped with very rare Edmunds Dual Carburetion, Overdrive, Electromatic (automatic) Clutch, radio, etc. Just out of long term storage in dry eastern Oregon. Engine spins freely, has not been started (Missing distributor cap and wires). Former owners include Ann Klein of vintage Bentley fame and Packard historian Dwight Heinmuller.
