1998 Lincoln Mark VIII LSC Collector`s Edition. I purchased this car from New York over two years ago. It runs very well. It had an oil pan oil leak and a bad transmission leak. I had the oil pan replaced, and the transmission was completely rebuilt at Ennis Transmission Shop in Texas. It has the usual surface undercarriage rust from cars from that part of the country. I used a small sandblaster to remove the loose surface rust; no areas had rust holes in the car; then I sprayed some undercoat under most of the vehicle. I also had a front-end suspension kit put on the car; the clear coat was peeling all over the car when I purchased it. Therefore, I painted it the original color. The clear coat I used was ColorSystem New Generation, which was used on BMW. There are some imperfections in the clear coat. Also, there are areas that I buffed through on the edges; they are in photos. The paint job is not a showroom, but it is good. I will include leftover basecoat paint. Also, the passenger side door will not open from the outside, and the handle is broken. There will be a replacement handle in the trunk.

I redyed the light tan part of the driver seat, and it came out nice.AC and heat work, sunroof works, interior in excellent condition. Again, the car is not in showroom condition but in excellent condition. My car has been parked at my workshop for the last 18 months. I parked it there after I had the transmission rebuilt, drove it from the shop about 25 miles to my workshop about 50 south of Dallas, Tx. I only put about 40 miles on the car since I owned it; therefore, I decided to sell it. The clean title on my name tags and inspection expired in February 2024.
