This 110 has been thouroughly restored in 2021. There are too many "restored" trucks on the market that have had a quick respray. This 110 has been fully disassembled for paint, this is one of the best available!
This 1988 factory left hand drive One Ten 'Defender' was sold new to a voluntary fire dept in a small vilage in Italy. It was always cared for, stored inside and kept in a perfect operational condition. When we bought it it had only done 14.700 kilometers and was rust free!
When exchanged for a new truck we were able to buy the 110 directly after it was decommisioned.
We took the car apart up to the frame. All panels were painted seperately in Pastel Green. All hardware was replated to factory spec. A few custom things were done; door cappings a la MY 1985, and a Tropical roof shell was fitted like Land Rover did in the 60's and 70's. The original seats were restored, we re-upholstered the original headliner with beige Alcantara. We had the dashboard parts upholstered with leather with brown stitching, to match the seats. New rubber matting was placed. New seals and rubbers were fitted. New clutch was fitted and a new stainless steel sports exhaust was fitted. New wide steel wheels were fitted with new tires. A new Edelbrock four barrel set up was fitted. A new steeringwheel was fitted to finish the interior. And many many more new parts.
few small things good to know:
- Earth issue in the fuel sender dial. dail shows full but tank is not full.
- Left rear bottom shock rubber needs new one.
- 3 doorhinges show a little corrosion. need repaint.
This is a matching numbers truck with ultra low original mileage. This is a restoration with eye for detail. Included in the sale is the original build sheet from Land Rover which we found behind the dashboard when dismantling the vehicle. It is very very rare to find this document!
The 110 is located in Miami, with a clean FL title in hand
I have a file with hundreds of detailed pics of before, during and after the build to show the quality of the work.
