Jeep knew they had a good thing with the First generation of Wagoneer....How did they know? Well, they built them for nearly thirty years! Before, the term Sport Utility existed it was introduced as a Station Wagon. There are not many vehicles out there with the exception of the VW bug or the Porsche 911 that can claim the body style basically went unchanged for nearly thirty years. This is a very nice original piece with the exception of a re-paint a few years back. This is a unmolested, not rusty or crusty Wagoneer that spent most of its life in California and Texas before moving north to become a Summer only driver with good dry winter storage. The re-paint looks very good and appears to have been done professionally. The engine is stock and passed emissions testing all the way up to 2005. This Wagoneer has had a newer exhaust put on and regular oil changes throughout. This truck, starts great, shifts nicely, steers good, has good tires and brakes and does not appear to leak or smoke. All the windows including the rear windows work as they should. The faux wood trim on the body is in excellent condition. Overall this is a very clean rig that could be taken to the next level very easily if you wanted or just drive it!
