2006 Jeep Wrangler Sport TJ with 4.0 engine and 4-speedautomatic transmission
About six months ago, my dad bought the best Jeep TJ hecould find. It is an ‘06, the last year for the TJ line of Wranglers—the most sought-after of the Wranglers. It had just 38K miles. The Sport model received a mild 2” lift and new suspension goodies. This TJ came from the factory with cruise control, AC, PS, PB, and an overdrive four-speed automatic transmission. He meant it for me. But when it arrived here via an enclosed trailer, I quickly sensed it was not right for my situation. I needed a pickup. For that reason, Iam now selling it. And someone is going to get a spectacular Jeep.
Because it was intended to remain in the family, Dad threw a lot of new parts at it. The Jeep didn’t need any, but he wanted to work on it. So here is what it got:
· oversized brakes front and rear—everything related to brakes is new;
· red top Optima battery and battery disconnect switch under the hood
· rubber floor mats
· California cover (the best $450 one)
· Thermostat
· Transmission flush ($275)
· Mobil One engine oil with zinc additive and Mopar filter
· $2500 new tires and wheels, full balance, and realignment
· Wiper blades
· Original yellow paint clayed and waxed ($300)
· New front bumper in black powder coat ($1500—OEMbumper included)
· K&N air filter
Not installed but included:
· water pump and gasket
· Mishimoto radiator hoses and expensive clamps
· iridium spark plugs
· Gates accessory drive kit
· valve cover gasket
Dad made the TJ like new, almost better than new, and everyone loves it and so will you. For legal reasons, I cannot and do not guarantee or warrant anything. You will receive what you see in the photos and what is listed in the description. Although I will help, shipping from my location in Minnesota is the buyer’s responsibility. I require a $500 non-refundable deposit within 48 hours of the auction close. Dad knows more about this Jeep than I do, and he is willing to answer questions. If you are seriously interested, please ask me for his telephone number or email address. If you would like a photo of something you don’t see in the posted images, please let me know. The title is a clean Utah title. Again, the Jeep is in Stillwater, Minnesota. Good luck with the bidding.
