Great FJ40 here! Built to use and very reliable. I purchased it on ebay in 2015 from gentlemen in Oklahoma. Since then I have done the following:

- Rebuilt Original inline 6. New pistons, resleeved cylinders, rebuilt head
- Headers
- Sniper fuel injection kit just last year. It's sooo sweet! Starts right up and drives STRONG
- Swapped the old 3 speed on the floor for the later model 4 speed and later model transfercase
- New driveshafts
- Including an unopened reupholstery kit from Spector Offroad(grey color)
- Including bench seats for the rear that have been reupholstered a few years ago. I think they are meant for a different year but they fit and work pretty well! They're wider so probably more comfortable. I never used them for people in the back but I would use them if parked at a cool look out or when camping.
- 90% tread on new BFG All Terrains
- Bilsteins all corners and was previously lifted
- Rebuilt Steering
- Replaced tierods and a bunch of steering components a couple years ago. Keep in mind this truck doesn't get driven much so everything I've done to it has minimal miles on it. 5,000 miles at most.
- Heavy duty floor mats front and rear
- New window cranks/mechanism
- New weather stripping
- Original Steel wheels with hub caps
- No AC, No Powersteering, No Sounds system. This isn't a MALL CRAWLER or one of those refurbished FJ's that will never see a spec of dirt, this is ready to explore and do real fun shit in :)

I think I have receipts for about. $4-5K in work done on the transmission and transfercase from 2022. All new seals, completely gone through so this truck drives SOLID and realiable.

I could probably list a few more things but this is the bulk of it. Feel free to message me with any questions. I want you to have a really good understanding of what you're buying so you're confident with your bidding/purchase. I really love this truck. It's got a lot of "warts" as the previous owner told me haha but I've done a lot of good stuff to it since he had it. The previous owner rebuilt the brakes, replaced the body mount bushing and did a TON of the little things that nobody want to do, that is why I bought it from him. I didn't want some pretty on the outside Cruiser that still has a million mechanical issues. This is the opposite, it looks rugged on the outside but it's drivetrain is bulletproof and well maintained. I would drive this across the country if my back could handle it!!
