This 4cyl powerhouse is connected to the refurbished 3 speed on the floor manual transmission with 4x4 hi and lo that makes this scout the perfect all terrain vehicle. Brand new BfGoodrich all-terrain tires with new all aluminum 4x4 ford Bronco wheels. DID I MENTION , this model even the front windshield drops down fits perfect with the new cobra hood scoop. We found this Scout in New Mexico where it spent 40 years off its life salt free. When I saw this I knew i had to document the whole build because I new know one would believe a rust free 65 scout with not even one panel changed out or repaired, minus surface rust . NO rust holes anywhere ,floor boards,trunk area,motor compartment , fenders,any where . Panels all solid .These cars are know for being usually rust buckets!!
