Note - We have the new title from IL Sec of State as of July 1, 2024! The good:The car has an upgraded Ford 390 V8. Has a 4 barrel Edelbrock carburetor. The car has a newly installed power steering and power brakes. The car starts and runs and has plenty of powerThe paint and body are in decent condition. No visible rust or major dents, etcThe interior is in good conditionThe car has been garaged as long as we have owned it.We have 1 set of keysI do not know what model of transmission is in the car. I don't have a way to jack it up and see, nor am I familiar with Ford's enough to identify what model. The bad:The car is in fair condition and will need a bit of work.It has a small coolant, engine oil and transmission fluid leak. Nothing too major, just a few drops here and there. You will need to do some work to identify the leak source. May be as easy as a gasket, but I am not sure. The doors close but are not totally flush as you can see in the pictures. The battery is OK but on the weaker side. The car needs a little help to start if you let it sit a week or so. But if you drive it and turn it off for a bit, it will start right up. Easy fix but wanted to be up front here. The car is sold "As is" and there is no warranty. Please do your research before. This would be a great project for someone to make a couple quick and easy fixes and have a great looking car to drive around. The odometer has 75,459 miles on it but the engine was replaced before we bought it. We don't know how many miles are on the current engine. Note - We have the new title from IL Sec of State as of July 1, 2024! The red/white color is very nice and looks great in the sun. The car is available for inspection in Plainfield, IL.
