Up for sale is a 1940 Ford Deluxe 2 door Sedan with a nice older restoration. This is a nice driver quality car that starts easy and runs and drives very well. Its restoration is showing a little age with a Coupal of very small chips and a small scratch or two in the paint, but it still looks good. (Please look at all pictures closely) The body is Stright, and I couldn't find any signs of rust Anyware. Doors open and close with ease and click close Niceley like a low mile car. All chrome has been redone at some time and still looks good. The interior has been updated with new head liner, new seat upholstery, new carpeting and the door panels look to have some of the original mohair on them with some newer lower carpeting added. The dash is in its original condition with original paint, nice original radio and glovebox clock but the clock is not working. Gasges and gage panel look great, and all gages are working as they should. This is an early model 1940 Ford with the ashtrays that the doors push in and up to open. Oh! the horn is not working either. All glass is also very nice and the Ford logo in still on the glass. The inside window frames look to have the original paint still on them. The car is showing 24199 miles on the speedometer and the original spare tire and wheel is in place in the trunk. We are not sure if the miles are its original as the owner has passed and the car came from an estate. The engine looks fresh and runs strong. Transmission shifts as it should, and clutch is smooth. Brakes seem to be very good. I'm listing this nice Little Ford for my friend that Ownes a car dealership, but he doesn't sell older cars and I know old cars much better than he.
