This my 2001 Dodge Dakota R/T which I have been working on with a local High Performance Automotive Specialist here in in Virginia!  I really love the truck but I can only afford to have one project car and right now and I have two.  This Dakota is an R/T (road and track version) from 2001 that boasts an unusually huge engine: a 5.9-liter SMPI V8 "MAGNUM" with 345 lb-ft of torque, which now seems insane to be installed in a midsize pickup truck. I have put over 12K into this Dakota including a Monster Super Heavy Duty Performance Transmission designed for vehicles powered by engines producing up to 600 horsepower (650 tq),  an all aluminum cooling system from Wizard Cooling with brushless fans, aluminum radiator. I love the look of the dodge viper wheels, so I bought four 13 inch Dodge Viper wheels had them powder coated black and outfitted them with Michelin Pilot Super Sport 345 30zr19  on the rear and 275/35 ZR 18's on the front. It also comes with the original wheels and complete set of firestone tires.  All pulleys and belts were just replaced last month. The seats are leather bucket seats. There is a tear on the driver side seat that has exposed some foam seating which I had planed to get fixed at a later date. The paint job was next but I kinda like the rugged look of an eye-catching grey exterior with black racing stripe.  It also touts a heavy duty dodge dakota bed liner.  In June of this year I just had the air conditioning system was replaced with a brand new system with aluminum condenser and compressor that it blows I cold endlessly. To test everything before I sold it, and to enjoy it one more time before I sell it I drove up to Pittsburgh PA, from Williamsburg VA on the 4th of July this year.  Then from Pittsburgh to Tampa Florida and then home to Virginia again and it ran strong and the AC remained ice cold. This Dakota R/T was my baby and it is so much fun to drive but it is time to let someone else enjoy it!
