1968 Chevrolet Caprice 2dr 396 Project! This car is equipped with the rare hideaway headlights, bucket seats, console, tilt steering, tach and gauges! I have the original protecto plate as well. Original Ermine white with a black vinyl top and gold vinyl interior! This car will make a great project!
Body- overall the body is not too bad. Most all of these cars need quarter panel work and this one is no exception. There’s a few spots at lower rear window and the typical lower fender. The floors are in really nice shape the trunk pan does need some work but not much.
Interior- the interior is original but will need need redone. The bucket seat frames appear to be in great condition just need new pad and covers. The console is nice and I see no visible breaks. The tilt column is nice and tight. The gauges do move when the car is on. Even the original radio works!
Drivetrain- The car has the original 396 and TH400. The car has sat for a long time and will need to be gone through. We did get it fired up and it moves in both directs but has no brakes!
Paperwork- The car does and a clear title and has the original protecto-plate.
Location- Car is located in Owasso Oklahoma 74055. You are welcome and encouraged to come view the car prior to bidding. Buyer is responsible for shipping arrangements and cost.
