This is a fundraising sale by the Raleigh Fire Museum, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

This vehicle was previously stored in a barn in Johnston County. The prior owner was in the process of restoring the vehicle. This vehicle was retrieved and brought to its current location, in Four Oaks, NC, on March 27, 2024.

The vehicle is being sold as a Parts Vehicle. It was owned by town of Parmele, NC, for a period of time. The original title from 1977 will be provided, for documentation of authentication.

- In addition to a non-original motor (Chevrolet) installed in the truck, there's a second motor, possibly original. The second motor is disassembled.
- There are two pumps, both very heavy.
- Five sets of hard suction hose are included.
- Two sets of two-section wooden ladders are included.
- Assorted small parts and equipment are also included.
- The body is detached from the chassis.
- The water tank is detached and sitting upright.
- The tires are newish.
