Original Pontiac 389 V8 with 4BBL Intake. The engine runs really strong does not smoke or overheat. Original 3 Speed Automatic shifts really positive through all gears. This is a Factory A/C Car with really nice White Bucket Seats and a Sporty Floor Shift Console. Big 8 lug wheel option and included is one complete spare 8 Lug unit in the trunk.
This car was customized back in the 60s....Louvered Hood, Laker's (side pipes) and double frenched in antenna holes. Great graphics under the hood referring to the 50s song little red riding hood. Amazing old skool hand pin striping tastefully done all over the car. Body and Paint looks good from a distance but is aged and will need to be freshened to be show quality. Paint missing and cracked in several areas. There is some rust showing around rear wheel lips (see pics). Floor pans look good with just a couple areas that could use some repairs. Fuel tank is out and a fuel cell is in use right now in the trunk. Included in the sale is a brand new stock tank in the box. Gauge package is working. Radio is non op. AC is not cold but may just require a charge. It will need a carb rebuild as the accelerator pump is lazy from sitting. The trans is slipping out of high gear around 55 mph.Brakes and steering are all good and the car is really a joy to drive.
Overall a smooth old school custom that you can cruise around town NOW and with some elbow grease could be brought back to its original Show Winning Glory.
