The GP is a limited-edition track ready car that blurs the lines between the standard John Cooper Works hardtop Mini and a Mini Challenge race car. Capped at 2000 units world wide, of which, only 500 are in the US. This upgraded Mini is an absolute joy to drive, the car handles like it’s on rails and accelerates about as quickly as it can stop. This particular example has a plethora of modifications which enhance the driving experience and visually make a statement. Looking at the car you’ll notice the Anthracite OZ Alleggeritah wheels wrapped in 205/45/R17 Pirelli Cinturato P7’s, peeking out at you are the massive red 13-inch vented front discs and six-piston fixed calipers. The JCP aero kit adds a nice bit of aggressiveness to the well rounded Mini. In addition, the car has a lot of nicely nuanced carbon fiber bits that all work perfectly. Inside the car, leather Recaro Racing seats keep you planted throughout acceleration and the twisties. You’ll find your average creature comforts, and nothing more. The 2 seater forfeits the rear seats from the factory for a burley rear sway bar. The previous owner added roughly $9,000 in modifications, the mod list above is quite comprehensive,
each part was well thought out and professionally installed by MADNESS Autoworks in California.

The exterior presents well with minor blemishes in the paint consitent with age and mileage. The paint is bright and vibrant and shows the sleek lines of the Mini. As seen in the photos, there are some minor scuffs noted on the rear bumper. Most of the front of the car has PPF on it as well.

The interior of the mini is clean and free of almost any defects. The only flaws we could find were some very minor wear on the outside bolsters of the driver's seat. All the buttons and gauges work as intended.

Mechanically, the GP runs and drives as it should. The engine pulls hard and the transmission shifts quickly with the added short shifter. There are no discernible squeaks or rattles, nor any mechanical sounds to worry about. The KW V3's aren't as rough as you think. The car feels planted on the road and handles like a go-kart. A 30K mile service was performed in June 2024.
