Space optimization includes a 60? galley kitchen counter doubles as a huge workbench in day mode. There’s a comfortable bench couch for hanging near the sliding door to take in the views, that converts to a second sleeping spot for a guest if needed. A removable hidden shower system inside the sliding door bench, that doubles as a standup sink in the sliding door for outside use and a bench seat. There is an exterior hot/cold water hookup for a shower or hose out the rear doors.
The full size roof rack is maximized for a flat appearance while still having 400 watts of solar that hinge up for extra storage. A flat “shou sugi ban” roof top deck behind the solar panels is accessible from a marine roof hatch and is large enough to sleep on and a Magnus marine deck hatch to access from the interior bed. The entire roof platform is flush so it can still be used to haul gear and the deck can be replaced with two additional 200 watt solar panels if desired.
The van has a 5kw EcoFlow Power Kit universal electrical system with solar, shore power and alternator charging and runs at 48v DC and 12v DC for maximum efficiency. The installed 5kwh lithium battery is equivalent to a 400Ahr 12v system and is plug and play ready for up to two additional 5kw batteries if desired. There are over a dozen 120v outlets inside, 5 interior lighting zones, and exterior flood lights all around and below each individually zoned as well as 360 degree strobe lights outside.
The 9,000 BTU Pioneer Heat Pump provides heat down to 20 degrees and cools efficiently to around 30 degrees below the ambient temperature. An Espar diesel heater provides cabin heat at sub-zero temperatures and will burn ~1 gallon in 24 hours and is set up on a 7-day timer. You could literally keep the van at a very comfortable 75 degrees all winter regardless of outside temps.
This Sprinter was special ordered with a custom spec sheet for this build. The conversion build quality is definitely a few notches above the mass produced, Revels, Thors and others out there and an incredible value at this price.
