289 V8 GT, 4 speed manual with power steering.
100% Rust Free. Lived in California and garaged for most of its life. Floors are very nice, original red oxide primer. Absolutely no rust and no scaling.
Clean and clear CA title, with current registration.
Body and paint are beautiful! All original sheet metal. 1 repaint in factory color (Raven black) 10 years ago and garaged since. The body is laser straight, no accidents and absolutely no rust. This is a very nice car that was well preserved. All of the doors, hood and trunk align and close perfectly. All the glass and chrome are in immaculate condition. The top is in great condition.
It shows 78,000 miles. Always starts right up and settles into a smooth idle. Does not overheat. No smoke, no leaks and no funny noises. Plenty of power and stops on a dime. Tight steering, drives nice and straight. Cruises effortlessly at 70mph. Fun turn key classic Mustang that’s ready for the open road.
Black pony interior is in immaculate condition. The dash, seats, carpet, and door panels are very nice.
All the gauges are in working order. Including the speedometer, odometer, gas gauge, temperature gauge, oil pressure and alternator gauge. All the lights work, including the dash lights, headlights, brake lights and turn signals.
The trunk is very clean and comes with the factory plaid mat.
All in all.. This is a spectacular example of a well cared for, honest 1966 California Mustang GT Convertible. You could get something average, that's still going to need work. Or spend a little more and get this gem.
