Vehicle Details

This is a 1955 Buick Special Convertible I restored for my Dad for his 75th birthday about 10 years ago. (It was the same kind of car he had in college) It is up near Northeast Harbor, ME. Unfortunately, my parents are selling their house and so the car has to go too. I guess that is OK because my Dad took very little interest in it unfortunately. The car has probably less than 1K miles since we restored it. Now we didnt restore the motor because it operated fine (It could use some paint work to look amazing) And I did have the automatic transmission redone too. The car as far as I know is completely original. The only known problem is a gasket leak near the tranny (which the transmission folks didnt address I guess) Otherwise, itll just need a battery as it is in storage in our garage up in Maine. Sad to see it go. It will make a fun car for somebody. Ping me with any questions. (I know there are no interior shots, but Im not in Maine and can't get up there. It is a black interior with bench seating both front and back. New black vinyl) Black rug too. Thx
