Listing will not let me use 1300 Junior name so it shows as a GTV but is a 1300 Junior I am selling my 1967 GT 1300 Junior stepnose . Car has a clean Florida title the mileage shows 10917 KM but it is TMU. The car was originally delivered in Naples, Italy  on September 27,1967 . The color was Blutte and the interior Cuoio Ginghale  .per Certificato Di Origine which will accompany the car. .  The PO advised me the car was originally imported from Italy by someone in the service and was driven in PA and MD, at some point the car was painted with the present blue color with yellow side stripes I don?t have a time frame for    the repaint.

The car came to me with sagging doors and chips on the front edge of the door and fender. I rebuilt the door hinges and sent the car to my body shop to repair the damage.   The shop painted both sides of the car to make sure it all matched. The work came out exceptionally well, the car looks great. This Alfa is not a trailer queen she is a driver, the body /rockers / floors show no rust. There is surface corrosion on some parts of the car, but the floors and rockers are solid, rear driver side floor shows a repair, the two front    floors look solid and original but both front floors show repair to the small area where the drainage holes were. Please see the pictures for more detail.

The braking system was not working very well so I replaced the rotors ,calipers, pads and brake lines as well as the booster , please look at the bills from Classic Alfa and My Alfa group .The interior is finished in a dark grey leatherette with grey cloth center section, the seats are not the original but the more desirable Veloce bucket version, which was available for only one year, the seats do a great job of keeping you planted during spirited driving,  when I got the car the seat foam was totally deteriorated, I replaced   all the springs and installed the correct foam for the veloce seats.

The car still has some needs but none that would keep you from enjoying the car. The dash cover should be replaced; the headliner may be able to be cleaned further by a pro the dash face as 2 cracks with a working glove box. The rubber interior that came with the car is in good shape, this was a no-frills car. I cleaned and dressed the rubber, again please look at the pics. The exhaust needs to be replaced, the PO installed a flowmaster muffler and nothing else. It sounds great but the car really needs an Alfa exhaust     the PO installed a Facet electric pump, he would drive the car once every couple months and always had trouble starting the car, the electric pump took care of that. It is located below the front rail. IMHO the car needs the fuel pump located near the fuel tank and it needs to be the Bendix type pump, it is something I was planning to do but never got to it. The original mechanical pump is in place and can be used if so desired, along with installing the original Fispa filter/pressure regulator .

The Alfa Romeo GT and GTV   were a series of sport coupes designed by Bertone and introduced in 1964, The Junior came along a little later with a 1300 engine instead of the 1600.  This is my second Junior; I had a 71 before but I prefer the floor pedals and the rev happy engine, and this one is lighter and quicker.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     The car has the famous Alfa Twin Cam engine and a 5-speed transmission. The engine starts and runs easily, as far as the 5 speed, there is no crunching noted by me or the other people that worked on the car, it shifts smoothly up or down.  I have set up a replacement steering wheel using an original 105 hub and horn button. see the pictures. This will be included in the sale.

The car has new 185/70 tires on AR Series 3 spider rims. The motor is the original 1300 which runs like it should and revs freely. Comes with 2 sets of keys and original owner?s manual. This car would be an excellent candidate for a full restoration if so desired.
