While in the US Navy, I purchased my 1989 Volvo wagon 240DL through Volvo Military Sales. It’s been a fantastic family car but my family has grown and my Volvo needs to go to a caring individual who loves the design, safety, and high quality standards that Volvo is known for. As the original owner, I have constantly maintained the vehicle with regularly scheduled maintenance. It has a five speed manual, runs great and shifts well. The tires are okay and the battery is new. The A/C has not been charged in years but the radio, heater, and defroster work well but the rear defroster, rear wiper, heated seats, and clock are not working. The mileage is original and accurate. The pictures are a very accurate representation of the overall condition. There are areas of rust but no known structural issues in the frame or floors. The paint has faded in several areas. The trim piece on the right rear door is missing along with a small dent.
