Engine, transmission and transfer case are from an 85 Jeep Scrambler with unknown mileage. Odometer on donor vehicle was broken so I don't know. Compression is good and makes 30 psi of oil pressure at operating temperature. Runs great and sounds steady like a sewing machine. Transmission and transfer case shift as they should. I opened them up to look at the gears. Everything looked good so resealed for use. Axles inspected and resealed as well. NEW ball joints and tie rod ends. NEW brakes.
All lights and gauges work as they should, even the notorious temperature and fuel gauges.
Currently has Steel Horse black front seats with neoprene Jeep logo seat covers. Driver's seat has wear from getting in/out of the Jeep. I leave them covered year round, so the wear did not bother me enough to replace the seats since they are comfortable otherwise. Rear seat is a fold-and-tumble seat out of a newer YJ vintage Jeep with matching neoprene seat cover. The OEM black dash pad has a few cracks as shown in pictures, but overall decent shape. Aftermarket clock and tachometer to replace broken OEM pieces. NEW push-pull cables for heating/vent system. NEW Retrosound radio with front speakers only. I have OEM carpet that came out of it if the buyer wants it. I didn't put it in because it is Raptor Lined inside.
I do have the complete denim blue interior that was removed if buyer would prefer that instead. Can be discussed after sale. I preferred a black interior so changed it out. The blue set has a decent pair of high back front seats. Have NEW Bestop blue seat covers to keep them nice. The blue set has a fixed-back rear seat with some wear on the top and back edges. I also have a NEW blue roll bar cover, door cards, sun visors, and NEW padded center console. Blue dash has rust and several cracks.
Paint is new last year. Not perfect, but super nice. Chrysler Blue Streak is the color, which looks amazing in the sun. There are some rock chips here and there because I actually drive it. The drivers side window has some chipping/etching- see photos. OEM hard top with later style paddle handle doors. Powder coated OEM side rails. Jeep has been stored inside since restoration work complete.
