1949 Ford Canada (Windsor, Ontario) F47shortbox 1/2 ton.    

    Offered is what is left of a 1949 Ford F47 1/2 ton shortbox, that has spent the better part of 6 decades being cannibalized of it's parts, it is begging to be rescued and brought back to life, the front end of the truck is heavily damaged as seen by the pictures, the fenders are all there, still sturdy, but all dented to some extent, especially the 2 front ones and notably the driver side front, the box is pretty decent and also the main part of the cab, the missing parts are the end gate, bumpers, hood, glass, transmission and drive shaft, rims and tires, the rear end is there laying in the dirt as noticed on the pictures, the frame is still on it, truck is laying on the ground, the running boards are there mostly covered over in the dirt, what's left of the engine is there, but just sitting loose between the frame rails, the driver side door is pretty solid, the passenger door not so much as this truck spent many years laying on that side and was just raised up this spring, what you see in regards to the truck is what you will receive.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      The auction is unreserved, the item will go to the highest bidder, the truck will be sold with a written bill of sale and also come with a current license plate and Saskatchewan, Canada registration tag with an expiry date of August 15, 2024. 

       A deposit of $300.00 will be required at auction end and payment in full within 10 days from that date, this truck is located about 30 miles from my home in Kinistino, Saskatchewan, Canada, I will be available to take the winning bidder to it's location and assist with the loading of the truck. All shipping costs and arrangements to have the truck picked up will be the responibility of the winning bidder. The truck must be picked up within 30 days of the auction end as the acreage where it is located has been sold.
