NOTE: This is the third time I have listed this vehicle due to winning buyers being unresponsive.

Ford Mustang II Cobra II White With Blue Stripes

This car sat up for nearly 30 years in a shop before I purchased it. It was an original v6 car that had blown engine. I replaced the engine with a 302 out of a Ford Torino 1971 (I believe). I did MANY rust repairs while the engine was out and replaced many parts during the swap. The engine runs pretty good and is strong. It has a tremble in which I believe is possibly from the old spark plug wires in which is the only thing I didn't replace. They looked fairly good. After it warms up, it starts up on first try every time. The transmission shifts smoothly as well. The tires has about 75 percent tread life. I have test driven this car a few times and it drives fairly good for its age. I replaced the inline fuel filter for a K&N one. This helped the gas flow and a slight better idle however, it still has a tremble. The vacuums appears to be good.

Here are a list of new parts followed by a few minor issues.

NEW PARTS:
Spark Plugs
Radiator
Transmission lines and fittings (C4 transmission)
Gas tank and sending unit.
Duraspark
Voltage Regulator
Oil Pump (since I had the engine out)
Oil pan gasket
Transmission pan gasket
Master Cylinder
Entire Rear Brake line (the one that goes from the front to rear)
Heater Core & Hoses
Fuel Filters
Thermostat
Distributor Cap & Rotor
Hatch weatherstripping
Hedman Headers (the header paint has basically peeled off)

ISSUES:
The car still has the original brakes. You can tell they are low when you come to a stop. They will need replacing soon. There are some rusted sections that are typical for the Mustang II that I never got around to fixing. One in which is in the spare tire area. You can see it in the pictures. The others are in the rear wheel area. You can see them in the pics as well. The starter has a couple worn tooth possibly. When the car gets hot after running for a while, every so often the starter will scrape the fly wheel when you go to start it. It has been this way for a while. All I do is turn it a couple times and it catches almost immediately. It never does it on cold start. Weird. There is no kickdown rod connected. The Torino setup is totally different from the Mustang II and I never got around to connecting it. This does NOT affect the transmission shifting whatsoever. ALL turn signals and lights work however, the dash cluster lights (the ones that illuminate the cluster at night) works every blue moon. You have to play with the light switch to get them on. There's a small leak by the gear box (a drop every so often). This is common from age and wear. It will probably stop after being driven for a while.

Final notes;

I AM an extremely HONEST person. I have listed every possible thing I can think of about this car. I have spent a lot of time getting this car going. It turned out pretty good. The paint is original with the exception of the hatch and chin spoiler in which is painted okay. The paint on the car is not perfect but looks fairly good when cleaned up. The interior is decent as well. There is a crack in the dash pad which is common for these cars. There are cracks / splits in the bumpers too. There is also a dent right above the gas cap. It looks like it can get popped back out.

This is a decent looking daily driver. This is the same color and Cobra II that was featured in the show "Charlies Angels" (NOT the actual car).  I have a clear title in hand.
