1969 DODGE CHARGER
#’S MATCHING 383 CI, DIXIE HORNS, PS, PDB
This is a gorgeous 1969 Dodge Charger General Lee replica. This car is definitely a conversation piece that was inspired by “The General Lee” from the television series, The Dukes of Hazzard. This Charger has a clean body, looking down both sides it is straight. There are no signs of rust or damage. The panels fit square and flush. It has the optional turn signals in the hood. All of the chrome and trim are in great shape. The original glass looks good. It sits on a set of American Racing Vector 10 spoke Turbine Dukes of Hazzard style wheels with radial tires.
The engine compartment has its original 383 ci engine with a few performance upgrades. Upgrades include: HEI ignition, aluminum intake with an Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor, a set of Mopar performance finned aluminum valve covers and air cleaner and an aluminum 4 core radiator. It features factory exhaust manifolds, newer power brake booster and master cylinder. It also retains its original fender tag. It also features the popular “Dixie Horns”, power steering and under hood insulation. The engine bay is nicely painted.
The interior is newer from the carpet to the headliner. The dash is very nice, no cracks in the dash pad. The door panels are in great shape as well.
The undercarriage is all clean metal. Looking up at the motor it is clean as well as the 727 Torque Flite automatic transmission. There is a factory style exhaust and a 8 3/4 ” rear end. The floors and frame rails are all rock solid.
The trunk has been professionally boxed in and very tastefully done. It features newer weather stripping. Under the trunk lid is painted and very glossy.
This Charger runs great and has the looks that turn heads!!
