True 1971 Chevelle Heavy Chevy. Title is listed as an SS. What is a Heavy Chevy? Google the following article: 10 Reasons Why the 1971/1972 Heavy Chevy is a Chevelle SS in Hiding. In summary, a Heavy Chevy had a lot of the SS features, but did not come with the largest motor. The article has more details. This is a roller project that I purchased. I've since purchased another Chevelle that already has an LS6 conversion, so I'm selling this one, as I'll be focused on the LS6 Chevelle. This Chevelle comes as you see in the pics. It has the original dash, the glove box door even has the original maintenance schedule attached. I do not have the build sheet, as the car has received a ton of new sheet metal (floor pans, trunk pan, fenders, doors). The rear bumper has some of the chrome peeling, see pics. The paint job looks great in the pics, but it isn't great. It is a 6/10. Think Maaco paint job and that is about what this Chevelle has. It is okay/good, not great. I was planning to have it stripped and painted properly, but it is a decent starter paint job, depending on your budget. The Heavy Chevy badges are decals, so they can be removed if desired. It will also come with two front seats that I've pulled out of my other Chevelle (not original Chevelle seats) and new front coil springs in the box. You can pick up the car on your trailer or have it shipped. I'll help load the car on a trailer. I'm not looking to make a flip profit on this car, just looking to get back what I have in it. If you have any questions, feel free to give me a call.
