This Alpine has a clean California title with a Non-Op status. The car was last driven in the late 1970s. It is completely dismantled as shown in the photos. The engine and transmission are correct for the car but they are not numbers matching. The drive shaft and shift levers are missing. The windshield frame is heavily damaged but a new windshield is provided, still in it's shipping crate. Hub caps, 5 original wheels, original seat frames and convertible top frame is included. New +.040 pistons and rings, correctly sized small end and big end bearings are included. The crankshaft has been inspected, turned and polished. The block has been decked and one cylinder sleeve installed
The block needs one additional sleeve. The transmission has been rebuilt, including new bearings. The firewall had been cut out to install a Ford inline 6 cylinder. The firewall has been restored using a repair panel from a donor car.
The chassis has been stripped, primed with an epoxy primer and finished with Delfleet single stage polyurethane.
The mileage on the car is unknown. A mileage value was entered in the listing to satisfy listing requirements.
This car should be restored and not parted out.
