1985 Vanagon GL Westfalia Campmobile (water cooled)
Engine starts right up, sounds great and runs smoothly.
FUN TO DRIVE!! (if you've driven a nice Vanagon, you'll know what I mean)
Shifting is nice and tight, stops well and goes down the road very straight and true.
Excellent driver that gets compliments everywhere she goes.

Clean from front to back and doesn't have any odd smells.
You can tell this Westy has been well cared for by the overall condition.
She looks amazing considering that she is almost forty years old!
Captain's chairs with armrests for both driver and passenger comfort.
Both chairs swivel, making it nice to put a table between the seats.
Interior is in excellent shape and very comfortable.
Z-bed works as it should. It folds flat to make a comfortable bed,
then easily pops back up to make the rear bench seat.
Seatbelts are in the back seat as well for passenger safety.
Full size bed up top and full size bed down below.
There are two tables, one smaller and one larger for front and back.

Lots of storage throughout.  Big trunk under rear seat, long shelf under back hatch,
along with a side and rear cabinet. The layout is quite functional.
Included and stowed away in the cabinets are a water hose, the jack, privacy curtains and the rear screen.
Just snap it into place in the rear of the van when the hatch is open.  (bugs out/breeze in)
The curtains are in great shape and are thick for insulation as well as light blocking.
It has the Go Westy blackout skylight (for sleeping late) that doesn't leak.
The Westfalia is equipped with the full camper package including the sink, holding tank, fridge and stove.

AM/FM Bluetooth Stereo. Perfect for longer road trips when radio stations dwindle.
Recent tune up included new plugs, wires, fresh oil and filter.
New tires.  All of the lights work as do the wipers (new blades) and horn.
Back hatch struts and a new heater blower motor installed last fall.

The previous owner told us that they had the engine rebuilt at the Old Volks Home in Bend, OR.
He said that the work was done right around 150K miles.
Unfortunately, there is no paperwork to support the work being done.
We took him at his word and can attest to it driving very well.
We drove it about 250 miles this last weekend.
She purrs right along, it's a blast to drive!

Being sold with a Bill of Sale and a clean, clear, Oregon title in our name.
I wouldn't hesitate to jump in and drive it across the country.
Though, we make no guarantees.  Being sold AS IS with no warranty.
We hope that the person that gets her loves her as much as we have.
Someone is going to get an awesome Westfalia camper!
