Classic Car Addict is proud to present this 1970 Plymouth Superbird clone for sale in our Mesa, Arizona showroom. This is a factory 1970 Plymouth Satellite that was built into a custom Superbird clone. This iconic vehicle is not just a car, it's a statement of style, power, and prestige. The history of the Superbird was designed specifically to entice Richard Petty to come back to Plymouth for the 1970 NASCAR season. Richard Petty went on to win 18 races in 1970. For the 1971 NASCAR season, they banned all Superbird's and Daytona's. The cabin features front bucket seats and rear bench seat trimmed in black vinyl with silver accents. Doors are finished like the seats, with the Roadrunner decal under the vent window. Modern upgrades include new Dakota Digital gauges for your RPM, 150 MPG gauge, fuel, temp, oil, and battery. It features an AM/FM/8-track radio that adds a touch of nostalgia, a three-spoke steering wheel with the amazing BEEP BEEP sound, and a Hurst pistol grip shifter. Black headliner and black carpet are in excellent shape. Front floor mats have the Roadrunner Superbird emblem. Safety hasn't been overlooked either, it does have front seatbelts. The exterior is finished in Vitamin C orange and paint is in excellent condition along with the black vinyl top. Features include a metal aerodynamic nose cone (not the cheap fiberglass), flip-up headlights (could use adjustment), fender vents, hood pins, black graphics, a black vinyl roof, a tall rear wing, and chrome exhaust outlets that exit below the rear bumper. And it has new sequential LED taillights. Once you open the hood, you are greeted with a 426 HEMI V8 (P5160208AA, Callies Mopar Gen II Hemi engine block) bored over to a 528 HEMI mated to a Mopar A833 four-speed manual transmission. Additional upgrades are custom long tube headers, newly fuel injected, 8 A 1/4 rear end (2852905) with a direct fit performance muffler kit (30103). She fires right up with no hesitation and sounds even better with a nice rumble. She rolls on Starfire Solarus tires 215/60R15 on the front and Mickey Thompson ET Street S/S P275/50R15 on the rear with 15-inch BASSETT rims all the way around. Vehicle Warranty

Classic Car Addict is a consignment dealership; therefore, we sell cars that are not new and have surpassed their normal life expectancy. For this reason, the vehicles Classic Car Addict often sells require greater maintenance and repair. Most of our vehicles that we sell are considered classics, antiques, and high performance, meaning that they are older or modified or both and most times have dated automotive technology. Although Classic Car Addict does perform a visual and driven safety inspection of the vehicle upon arrival, we cannot make any warranty, guarantee or representation regarding the accuracy truth, or reliability of information we are provided by the consignors. We sell our vehicles AS-IS, WHERE-IS, with no warranties expressed, written or implied. ANy representations or descriptions are for identification purposes only and are not to be construed as a warranty of any type. All sales are final. Potential buyers are aware it is his/her/they/their responsibility to either inspect personally or hire a third-party inspection company prior to the deal closing or purchasing the vehicle.
