1975 MGB V8 with the aluminum Rover V8 engine. this is a 1989 3.9 liter Range Rover/Discovery engine with a 9.35:1 compression ratio. The engine numbers are: CR8 13.1 and 38D11232A. The car has a brand new gas tank, new wheels and tires (date code is late May of 2022) including a full sized spare tire, all on really nice wheels. Yes, there are 5 great looking wheels, including one in the carpeted trunk, each low mileage tire having lots of deep tread. In addition, the interior in good shape. The headlights work, as does the tach and oil pressure gage. Center mounted under the dash is a temperature gage. Sitting on the dash is a GPS speedometer with a built in ammeter. Under the hood with its custom fitted hood scoop is a four barrel Edelbrock carburetor. The air filter is held down and seals nicely under the hood scoop. The car has custom exhausts which give it a really nice sound. The 4 speed Muncie transmission shifts really nicely. Recent work includes new oil pan and valve cover gaskets. This car is quick and fun and ready for a new home. Whether you just want to drive it or finish the resto mod is up to you. It really needs a chrome bumper conversion, or maybe that bumperless Sebring look.

The car is rust free; none of the usual cancer that afflicts these things. the suspension has torsion bars to keep the solid axle in place. There is a sway bar in the front to improve handling. The custom exhaust is solid without any rust. It runs and drives really nicely.
We started the work towards shaved sides and a chrome bumper conversion. The side marker lights, two extra MG emblems, jack and custom driver side roll bar extension all come with this great car. The paint is meh. Drive it anywhere enjoying the throaty exhaust. Also the rubber bumpers if you want them.
