A FUTURE SPACESHIP MARK V...

HELLO TO ALL 1960 LINCOLN MARK V CONTINENTAL CONVERTIBLE COLLECTORS,

THE 1960 LINCOLN CONVERTIBLE MARK V YOUR VIEWING IS ONE OF THE LAST 60s LEFT WITH ALL ORIGINAL LEATHER BLUE INTERIOR WHICH IS VERY NICE STILL. REPAINTED TWICE IN NOW BLUE CRYSTAL, A VERY LIGHT  POWDERBLUE / WHITE COLOR.

A GOOD DRIVER QUALITY TYPE WEEKEND CAR. WILL NEED SOME REPAIRS FIRST TO BRAKES TO DRIVE DAILY, WILL DRIVE AND LOAD LOCAL AND AROUND THE SHOP AND PROPERTY. REPAIRS HAVE BEEN STARTED OVER $1,100 SPENT ON MECHANICAL REPAIRS. THE NEW BOOSTER NEEDS A POWER ASSIST UNIT BRAKES ARE VERY HARD TO APPLY, NO POWER ASSIST, HAS NEW WHEEL CYLINDERS. NEEDS EXHAUST IN SPOTS, MUFFLERS ARE MIDAS IN OK GOOD SHAPE WITH WARRANTY TICKET FROM WAY BACK!. JUST HAD A TUNE UP AND PLUGS, DRAINED FLUIDS AND OLD GAS, NEW LINES HERE AND THERE. POWER STEERING WORKS NICE, BUT LEAKS ALOT. ALL THE POWER OPTIONS WORK, THE TOP IS THE HARDEST THING TO FUNCTION, BUT IT WILL GO UP AND DOWN WITH HELP. THE POWER BOOT IS OK ON IT'S OWN MOST TIMES. MUST HAVE CAR RUNNING AND A GOOD BATTERY. THIS ONE IS NEW.

THE POWER WINDOWS AND TRUNK ALL WORK OK. TRANS SHIFTS OK, STARTS UP GOOD, BUT NEEDS A NEW EXHAUST MANIFOLD GASKET DUE TO NOISE. SO OVER  ALL IT IS A NICE CAR TO GET RUNNING FOR A DAILY DRIVER WITH JUST A FEW MORE MECHANICAL CHECKS AND REPAIRS. IT IS PRICED ACCORDINGLY AND ALL REPAIRS LEFT THAT ARE STILL NEEDED ARE NOT TO BAD COST WISE.

PLEASE JUST EXAMINE THIS CAR AND LET ALL THE DETAILED PHOTOS SPEAK AND SHOW THE OVERALL CONDITION. BODY IS GENERALLY STRAIGHT AND NO REAL DENTS OR RUST AREAS. THE CAR IS SOLID OVERALL FOR THIS SIZE AND TYPE AS THESE ARE PRONE TO RUST. A GOOD SOLID UTAH CAR ITS WHOLE LIFE MAINLY. COULD BE A VERY NICE RESTORED CLASSIC IF THAT IS YOUR GOAL. GREAT BASE CAR TO START.

SO IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A RESTORED "PERFECT FLAWLESS" LINCOLN THIS IS NOT YOUR CAR!

  1. INSPECTION MAIN ITEMS ARE:
  2. PAINT EXTERIOR IS A TWO TIME REPAINTS
  3. NEVER ANY MAJOR ACCIDENTS SHOWING, OR FOUND TOP TO BOTTOM, BUT HAS SOME DINGS REAR BUMPER ENDS NICKED
  4. NEVER ANY METAL REPLACEMENT, ALL ORIGINAL SHEET METAL TOP TO BOTTOM,
  5. TRIM, CHROME, GLASS IN VERY NICE THE GLASS IS VERY GOOD INCLUDING FRONT WINDSHIELD.
  6. FACTORY GLASS BLUE TINT EZ-EYE ALL DATE CODED INCLUDING THE FRONT WINDSHIELD! NO CRACKS OR BIG STARS.
  7. ALL ORIGINAL FUZZIES, RUBBER SEALS, WEATHERSTRIPPING, RUBBER BUMPERS, SEALS, HAVE PAINT ON THEM.
  8. SOLID MAIN FLOORS AND TRUNK FLOORS AND FRAME AND BRACES. I WOULD SAY THIS IS A 95% RUST FREE CAR OVERALL.
  9. CONVERTIBLE TOP HAS ONE SPLIT UNDER SIDE LOGO TAG, DRIVERS SIDE. I THINK THAT IS WHY THEY WERE ADDED.

CARS HISTORY: UTAH CAR, WITH 1973 UTAH PLATES STILL ON IT, AND A INSPECTION STICKER FROM 1981, THE LAST YEAR DRIVEN UNTILL THIS YEAR, WE PUT 52 MILES ON IT. HAS BEEN INSIDE IN A MUSEUM IN UTAH SINCE 1982.

THANK YOU FOR LOOKING!
