This car was sold new at Scarbrough Ford in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.Its J-code, Cobra Jet Ram Air 429-cu.in. OHV V8 was rated at 370 horsepower.This car’s engine is date-code correct and was built to stock specs.It isn’t original to the car.This Ford was fitted with the C-6 three-speed automatic.Its rear axle is 3.50:1-geared and has Traction-Lok.This vehicle has never suffered body damage. All original sheet metal was retained during the restoration.It was repainted in its original Vermillion during its rotisserie resto.It has factory rear window louvers.Inside, the black vinyl upholstered interior is in very good condition.A prior owner had replaced the front bench seat with bucket seats.The original AM radio remains but has been redone with all new am/fm electronics.Power steering and power brakes were added decades ago.They were retained for the restoration.The underside of the car is as detailed as the topside.Car is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time.
