You are viewing my 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible. This Corvette sat for many years in a garage in Western PA. The original owner was said to have been an engineer at Firestone Tire Company in Akron Ohio. This Corvette was originally born Glen Green, paint code GG. The interior color was Green, Vinyl interior code 430. The car was optioned with the very rare L76 327/365HP motor, backed up by a Muncie 4-speed. This Corvette retains it's born with motor, transmission and rear end. The Corvette was in the same owners hands since the late 1970's before my purchasing it. The car has both it's soft top and factory hard top. I started the car last week for the first time in many years. The fuel pump was shot so I poured fuel down the carb and it fired right up. I have a video if any interested parties would like to see it. I have no reason to believe that with a new fuel pump this car would run great. As with most of these mid year Corvette's the frame has some issues. I purchased another solid frame with no rust issues what so ever, that included in the sale of the car. The body of this Corvette is in very nice shape as seen by the photos. Please feel free to ask me any and all questions. The reason for the sale is I have another car that I am working on that is needing more time and money. This Corvette will be a great restoration project for the right person. Thanks for looking.
