I got the vehicle from a relative that owned me some funds for years and was having hard time paying me back. He bought the vehicle with the vehicle requiring a timing chain replacement and since he could do the work himself, he took the front of the engine a part to replace the timing chain. He bought the part and never even opened it. Due to work schedule, family and having a daily car, he never got to it and eventually offered me to take the car as is as payment towards the funds he owed me. I have no use for the vehicle as I have a new car and I am not into BMW's. Vehicles all parts are inside the trunk in black plastic bags. It needs to be put back together. From what I was told, nothing is missing. Everything is in the trunk. When he got the vehicle, It was a driving car but just needed the timing chain replaced.
The body is super straight. The paint is in very good condition. The car has no dents or dings. The interior is in very clean condition. The car is a 545 so it has all the small extras a 545 would have such as rear window shades and folding headrests. I opened the key and as you see the dash and all work. I rolled the windows down and up and they worked. From what I was told, It drove very normal prior he took the front of the engine a part. I dont doubt what I was told about the vehicle. The AC blows cold and basically you will only need to put the engine back together with the parts provided.
If you are good with your hands, know how to work on cars, this deal is for you. You will be saving a big chunk of change if you can do the work yourself. This is a good purchase for a mechanic that can buy, fix and sell for profit since 545's are pretty rare compared to other models and they are more desirable for BMW buyers. I used to be a BMW guy and know a thing or two about them. I owned many of them at the same time including a European delivery 750 Schnitzer package, a Z4, an M3 and my favorite 2001 740, but in time I got in to Lexus living in Las Vegas because its much easier to maintain.
The tires on the car seem to be fine but Id replace them after it is fixed for a better ride since I dont know when these were placed on the car. I gave you guys all I know about the car, but if you have any questions, Ill try to answer them. Thank you much for your time
Buyer is reaponsible for the vehicle pick up. a $500 deposit is due at the time of the purchase and full payment is due within 7 days after the vehicle is purchased and the deposit is made. The only acceptable payment option is wire transfer, zelle payment or cash at pick up. I will send the title in the mail after the full balance is paid. Any reasonable offer buys the car. Thank you
