We are selling our 1992 Kodiak C7500 Toterhome due to rapid business expansion. This is one of the nicer such units you will find. It has been well cared for and has seen a lot of recent work; be sure to read the full description. It offers full functionality, cold a/c, generator, shore power, sink, refrigerator, microwave, toilet, new tires, and more.
This Kodiak was sold new with a Goldrush toterhome conversion by Monroe Truck Equipment. It remained with its original owner until 2017 and was always stored indoors. The odometer reads 256,076 miles which is deemed accurate. The unit is powered by a great running Caterpillar 3116 turbo diesel backed by an Allison MT600 automatic transmission. It also has air brakes. The primary trailer connection is a trailer saver air ride hitch with a gooseneck ball. Both air and electrical connections are provided. There is also a conventional hitch receiver for smaller trailers. Note the tires were replaced in the spring of 2024.
The cockpit has dual bucket seats with air ride for the driver. The dash a/c has been converted to R134a and blows cold. A digital stereo is present along with a CB radio. There is also an idle adjuster and functional cruise control. The horn, wipers, heater, defroster, headlights, turn signals, and running lights all work properly as well.
The living space was recently redone with new paint and new window treatments plus a matching partition behind the driver compartment. Up front is a removable table flanked by two rotating and locking captain’s chairs with seat belts. Further back is a couch that folds into a bed. That faces a counter section and small sink along with a refrigerator underneath and microwave above. A private half bath is at the rear of the cabin. There are two primary 12Vdc light fixtures along with many individual reading lights. There is an abundance of overhead storage as well.
Line voltage (120Vac) is available from the on-board Onan 6.6kW diesel generator which shares the vehicle’s fuel tank. It starts easily and has local controls as well as a remote panel in the living space. A convenient 30A shore power connection is also provided along with a transfer switch. An electric Cruisair HVAC unit with an interior panel provides temperature control for the living space. Both heat and air conditioning functions work properly. An auxiliary heater using engine coolant is also present.
This Kodiak comes with a clean Wisconsin title and is registered as an RV so a CDL is not required. A full set of manuals is also included. Many of the toterhomes in this price range leave a lot to be desired with deferred maintenance, non-working items, and unfinished interiors. As such, I think you’ll find this is one of the better examples on the market.
