Selling my 80’ 911 Turbo looking Widebody cabrio. I’ve owned it about 3 years now. Had bigger plans for it, but too many current projects going on.Seller's Notes
The turbo metal widebody & sum of all this work, parts, shell and engine are worth more than what I’m asking in my price. With not even $5k in TLC this is a $50k car all day. This can be someone else’s investment or dream car. ITS AN OLD CAR SO ASK ALL QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING. I encourage mechanic inspections. EXTERIOR: Originally a Targa converted into a cabrio like many back in the early 80’s. Top latches same with Roll bar add on. It has an entire METAL TURBO widebody conversion with widebody 964 bumpers and side skirts.OEM whale tail. New Headlights. New complete Black Paintjob with euro turbo mirrors. That’s all about a 25k job. No rust or rot. Wheels are 18’s with spacers added for widebody. Small scrape on bottom of front bumper visible if your on the ground.
Interior: all leather seats need upholstery. Door cards & dash are intact, no cracks, no rips, no tears. Door map holders are in my frunk. Windows work. No tears or rips in convertible top. I have an brand new black carpet for it. Momo steering wheel & Momo shift knob.
Mechanical: Engine was rebuilt with tons of other upgrades and work prior to my ownership. No smoking, no leaks. Starts up perfect everytime. Battery is always charged. Tranny shifts like a 915 tranny. Second gear needs getting used to. Engine is incredible strong with great compression, but needs fuel distributor rebuilt. About $1200 job said & done.(remove, send out, reinstall). Car runs & drives.. shifts etc.
my intentions were to have all the leather professionally dyed black, seats reupholstered black with my new black carpet. Rebuild the disctributor and enjoy it, but never came to fruition.
