1999 Mercedes-benz E300 Diesel, 175K miles, White w Parchment Leather interior, Chrome pkg, AMG wheels, premium sound system. Always Garage kept (Florida, Louisiana, New Mexico). Excellent condition: i personally did all the routine maintenance: oil changes, fuel filter changes, air filter changes. valve adjustment. belt(s) replacement. A shop replaced the radiator and the glow plugs.
i've had the car since 2015. I purchased it with 145K miles. i have the records from the previous owner. i have the records from my ownership too. I'm very mechanically inclined and have owned mercedes diesels since 2005. I know a lot about the 606 and 617 engines. my wife used the car as a daily driver for about 3 years then it was a garage queen for a number of years and then we had a child. The car is not being used so i’m selling it.
The Good:
Leather interior (good condition: no tears or rips). Premium sound system, 5 AMG chrome wheels, Michelin Primacy 235/45/18 tires in good condition. . .20 -30K miles remaining. fully detailed interior, exterior, and engine. 3 OEM oil filters included. large file of service history records. Original owners manual included. jumper cables included. OE Jack and tool kit included. No Dents. No previous accidents or body work. Car runs great: very peppy and smooth. Traction and transmission control options for snowy or wet weather. HVAC works good.
The Bad:
Some of the leather is showing signs of wear: rear headrests. No spare key. a pea sized chip in windshield. cd changer doesn’t work (i have an extra changer in case new owner wants to try to fix it). a couple of small cracks in the wooden portion of the steering wheel (cannot feel them- only visual) . Slight discoloration in dashboard. there are some paint chips around the grill and fairing on the front exterior paint. there are 2 tiny dings on the driver door. . .you'll have difficulty finding them unless wiping the car down in good light( they won't even show up in a picture). At idle the car has a slight vibration from engine which is typical of all the mercedes diesels i’ve owned (i replaced all the motor shocks/dampners). there's a small scratch in the passenger front window tint. The front seats have been dyed: the color is not a perfect match(it's a little lighter in color). there are some curb scuffs on the rims.
…and the ugly:
there is no ugly. . .unless you count the people with jealous looks as you drive by, hahahaha!
***NOTE***
- i've spent many hours on the phone and at the mvd trying to figure out the odometer reading discrepancy which "brands" the title (in some states). basically a car over 10 years old does not require odometer reading on title in some states . the odometer has never been manipulated. it's digital. . .i don't think it's even possible?
- the car has had 4 owners . . .not 5. i transferred the title to my wife's name a few years ago so technically it’s had 3 owners.
-Bank to bank wire transfer or cash upon acceptance of the vehicle. NO money order. NO checks. . .(even from a business account)
