up for auction is a 1928 ford hiboy roadster, built in the "old school" style. the engine is a 286 c.i. flathead V/8, complete with 4" mercury crank, ported and relieved edelbrock cylinder heads, block letter edelbrock "slingshot" with 2 97's, aluminum fly wheel, hi-torq mini starter, alternator in finned aluminum case, mallory coil, flex fan, plated headers, bee hive oil filter, plus many, many more engine accesories. the chassis is a custom 1932 ford (new frame rails), specially built for the flathead engine, a four speed manual trans with 4th gear as an overdrive, rear end is an independent jaguar ( posi-traction, 356:1 ratio) with wilwood disc brakes. front suspension is a combination of chrome and stainless, consisting of "hair-pin" front radius rods, dropped axle, wilwood front disc brakes, and a g.m. #525 steering gear was also added to the chassis. the body is a NEW BROOKEVILLE 1928/29 roadster, with stainless steel top irons and windshield frame and stanchions, also new 28/29 ford radiator shell with new Griffin radiator. top is from LeBarron-Bonney. interior is also full of details and period correct from (WWII Era), including "speedway" bucket seats  mounted on B-52 rails (titanium), Stewart-Warner winged gauges, leather accents on door panels, vintage jaguar "locking" steering column w/ turn signal, also, and this is big the fighter pilot jacket with graphics is included in auction!! there is a 14 gallon fuel cell with an aircraft type filler directly behind driver. the battery is a GEL type and always left on trickle charger. this little hot rod has more DETAILS than you can imagine, please review all photos as you will see more and more details everywhere you look.
