YOUR LOOKING AT A 1 OWNER HOUSTON TEXAS 1985 Z28 WITH 46K ORIGINAL MIKES. THIS CAR WAS THE FIRST YEAR WITH THE TPI MOTOR. I PURCHASED THIS CAR FROM THE ORIGINAL OWNERS. THE CAR WAS NOT USED AND SAT FOR THE LAST 20 YEARS (THEY DID START HERE AND THERE AND KEPT UP WITH THE OIL CHANGES). I HAD BEEN SEARCHING FOR THIS CAR FOR A LONG TIME WITH THIS COLOR COMBO. THE CAR WAS SUPER STRAIGHT LIKE YOU SEE AND THE INTERIOR WAS NEAR PERFECT. THE ONLY ISSUES WITH THE CAR WHEN I BOUGHT WAS THE GOOD OLE GM PAINT HAD A FADE, THE A/C WAS BLOWING HOT AND THE ALTERNATOR WAS WEAK. SO THE LIST BELOW WAS EVERYTHING THAT I HAVE DONE.....
1. HAD CAR PAINTED BY THE GUY THAT HAS PAINTED ALL MY C10'S AND GN. DONE THE RIGHT, ALL GLASS/TRIM ETC. WAS TAKEN OFF. 8K DOLLAR PAINTJOB. THIS GUY IS THE BEATAROUND.
2. NEW BRAKES
3.NEW A/C
4. NEW ALTERNATOR
5. NEW HOSES
6.ALL NEW BADGING
7.ALL NEW FLUIDS ETC.
8. I PERSONALLY LIKE THE 16" IROC RIMS, THEY ARE ORIGINAL NOT REMAN'S, HAVE THE STOCK RIMS
THIS OLE Z HAS THE 305 TPI WITH AUTO TRANS AND RUNS IN DRIVES LIKE IT SHOULD, POWER WINDOWS/LOCKS, T-TOPS. ALSO HAVE ALL THE BOOKS AND SHOP MANUEL, EVEN THE ORIGINAL TITLE.
I AM SURE I AM MISSING A FEW THINGS, BUT THIS OLE Z RIDES DOWN THE ROAD LIKE IT DID IN 1985. THE ONLY REASON I AM SELLING IS I DECIDED TO START ANOTHER GN PROJECT AND I NEED THE ROOM. THE ONLY THING LEFT I WAS GOING TO DO (BUT DOES NOT NEED) IS AN EXHAUST SYSTEM, BUT LIKE I SAID WHATS ON IT IS GOOD. I HAVE SOLD MANY OF MY TOYS ON EBAY OVER THE LAST 20 YEARS AND TRY TO DESCRIBE EVERYTHING TOA T, YOU CAN SEE THAT FROM MY FEEDBACK.
