Very, Very Rare 1st Generation Tacoma.
It's a regular cab, short bed, step-side Pre-Runner.
The story I've been given by the dealership is that this Pre-Runner, Step-side, short bed, Regular Cab model is that Toyota only made a few of these in Gen 1, and likely only 2003 and possibly 2004. It was supposedly only available as a special order. I've only seen one other (Reg Cab short bed) in the 12 years I've had it, but I can't swear this dealership info is correct.
You are welcome to come and take a look, or have your mechanic inspect it.

The Tacoma has had 2 previous owners and has a detailed service history available.
I've owned this truck since 2012. It's definitely a collector car now and will only increase in value. The previous owner kept it in impeccable shape. It's always been garaged unless on the road. No tears in the interior, no cracked dash. It has a few minor scuffs and dings on the exterior. Never been in an accident. Never repainted.
Original Engine and Transmission. Trans serviced when I brought it home. Oil changed every year regardless of miles driven. All services done by me since I've owned it. Carfax shows previous services.
New tires on Sequoia 17" polished wheels.
New Windshield last year.
When I bought it, the odometer read 155,000 miles. I've driven it 33,000 miles in those 12 years. It's lived only in California and lately in Arizona.
