Finished in Primrose Pale Yellow over a black interior and is powered by a replacement 1.8-liter inline-four mated to a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive. Additional equipment includes a Weber carburetor, ANSA exhaust tips, front driving lamps, 14” wire wheels, front disc brakes, a Sanyo cassette radio, and a wood shift knob. This MGB GT is now offered with a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certificate, an owner’s manual, records beginning in 2013, and a clean Maine title in the seller’s name.The car was finished from the factory in Pale Primrose Yellow and was reportedly repainted following the completion of repairs around the floors and sills during prior ownership. Exterior features include driving lamps, chrome bumpers, a fender-mounted passenger-side mirror, side moldings, MGB-branded mudflaps, and ANSA exhaust tips. Paint has some very minor flaws befitting its driver status.Chrome-finished 14” wire wheels are mounted with 185/70 Cooper Evolution Tour tires that were installed in 2019. A spare tire is in the trunk. The cabin houses bucket seats that have been re-covered in black cloth with darker piping, along with black vinyl door panels and matching carpets. Appointments include lap belts for front occupants, a Sanyo cassette radio wired to Pyle speakers in the doors, a cigar lighter, MG-branded floor mats, a wood shift knob, and crank windows. Air conditioning, a dealer installed option, was installed and then, understandably removed.A three-spoke wood-rimmed steering wheel fronts Smiths instrumentation consisting of a 7k-rpm tachometer, a 120-mph speedometer, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, and water temperature. The speedometer was serviced in 2023.The replacement 1.8-liter inline-four was installed during prior ownership and was fitted with a Weber carburetor with an electric choke in 2013. The fuel tank was replaced in 2016. Work in 2019 included replacing the fuel pump, battery, speedometer cable, starter, and oil pressure sending unit. The water pump was replaced in 2020, along with the windshield washer pump. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. A replacement clutch, hydraulic cylinders, and overdrive unit were installed in 2013. Receipts are available.The British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate shows a May 1969 production date as well as factory colors and identification numbers. An owner’s manual is also included in the sale along with various parts and repair manuals.No rust.
