1966 Ford Mustang Convertible. C code 289, Automatic trans, power top. You will not find a nicer project. If you’ve been wanting to restore a classic Mustang convertible but don’t want to deal with sheet metal replacement, this is the perfect car. All sheet metal replacement is complete. New rear frame rails, trunk floor, tail light panel, wheel houses, quarter panels, inner and outer rocker panel, full one piece floor, firewall, cowl panel, radiator core support, and front crossmember have been replaced. Painted semi-gloss black underneath and under the hood. New doors, front fenders, trunk lid, front and rear valances, and hood. All new front suspension. New stainless brake and fuel lines. New front disk brakes. New shocks and tires. New 3:50 posi rear end. Undercarriage is completely detailed. Original engine and transmission are included, but condition is unknown. Convertible top mechanism is there but condition of motor and hydraulic cylinders is not known. All of the interior is there but original and needs refurbished. The body needs final block sanding and paint. Basically a brand new rust free body. You could spend 18k on a Dynacorn body but not get the suspension and parts to finish the build. All work that has been done is exceptionally clean and very detailed. Don’t miss out on this one.
