Up for sale is my 1960 Cadillac Series 60 Fleetwood, 2-owner, 390 cu. in. engine, automatic transmission, 53,658 original miles, inverness green metallic exterior color w/matching vinyl top and a cloth/leather/vinyl interior, power steering, power brakes, factory non-A/C car, power windows, power bench seat, autronic eye headlight dimmer, remote driver’s side fender mounted outside mirror, manual passenger side mounted outside mirror, AM radio with front fender mounted antenna.  This is a nice looking, low mile Fleetwood with an eye catching color combination and nice appearance.  Originally from W. Virginia, the car has been garaged and in long indoor storage before my ownership and since I brought it to western PA some 20 years or so ago.   

The body of the car is super, super clean with crisp lines and nice structural integrity.  In person, it boasts a low mile car appearance with no outwardly visible rust or the appearance that any major rust work had ever been performed or fillers used.  Repainted many years ago before my ownership, the paint is dull and has only a light shine with minor blemishes in many places all over (see pictures).  Vinyl top has an age tear that had been sealed to keep moisture out (see pictures).  Rear skirt area is in great condition (see pictures).

 

The underside of the car is amazingly clean and solid with nice floors and frame bearing original undercoating (see pictures). 

 

The interior shows well - seats, carpets, dash, door panels and headliner appear to be original and look good.  The steering wheel and dash pad are beautiful with no apparent cracks and in a condition that you would expect to see from a low mile car.  However, the cloth seat material and padding are dry and splitting.  The rest of the leather and vinyl seat materials are in good shape.  Door panels are nice as is the headliner.  The floor carpeting is old, dry and worn but had been dyed to make for a better appearance.  The floor mats show signs of age but also had been dyed for a better appearance.

 

Not all interior electrical components are working or have been diagnosed.  Radio powers up but sounds of static, power windows work smoothly, interior and exterior lights as well as the horn all work, while the power seat, wipers, power antenna and other small items do not. 

Under the hood is mostly original and untouched.  The trunk appears untouched and in good condition with what appears to be the original trunk mat and side panels kit.  The jack is present but spare tire is a radial and not original to the car (see pictures).

  

All the trim shines nicely, chrome bumpers are pitted with the front more heavily pitted than the rear, other chrome pieces are in nice shape with little to light or no pitting, stainless in most places is shiny and nice, dented rear window trim near portion of trunk lid with damage (see pictures).  All of the hubcaps shine and look good on the car, but are all dented all over to some degree with one being heavily damaged more than the others.  Lock cylinder is removed and missing on passenger front door (see pictures).

 

The engine starts up with quiet internals, shifts, drives and brakes, but has been barely driven.  Should be gone over before road travel.  Brake hoses and wheel cylinders have been recently replaced/rebuilt, dual exhaust is in good condition, radial tires are in decent shape but are older, carburetor needs to be rebuilt for startup and road travel, has oil wetness and leaks underneath (see pictures).
