This is a family-owned truck that I had no intention of selling but was recently diagnosed with a blown head gasket. My mechanic says it likely needs a new engine.

Unfortunately I don�t have the time and am ready to sell it.

The truck is currently in Houston and was handed down by my dad to me. It�s been regularly maintained for its entire life and I recently replaced the radiator. and muffler.

At this time I�m asking $8,000 for the truck but am interested in hearing offers. Given the market and the potential cost of a new engine, I think you�ll find this is lower than the truck�s overall value even if you were to buy a higher end re-manufactured engine.
